YTF Frameless High-Efficiency Filters primarily use aluminum alloy profiles, multi-layer board frames, aluminum plate frames, and galvanized steel plate frames for their outer frames, with aluminum alloy profile frames being the most common. The filters are mainly manufactured in a cubic structure.

Panelless filters primarily use hot melt adhesive as the separator in the filter element, facilitating mechanized production. 

Furthermore, they offer advantages such as small size, light weight, easy installation, stable efficiency, and uniform airflow. Currently, the large-scale production of filters required in cleanrooms largely utilizes the panelless structure.

HEPA filters with separators often use folded aluminum foil or paper as the separator to form air channels.

 The separators are made of high-quality kraft paper, hot-rolled or coated paper. Currently, double-sided coated paper is commonly used for separators, primarily to prevent shrinkage due to temperature, humidity, and temperature changes, which could release particulate matter. When temperature and humidity change, this type of separator paper may release larger particles, causing the cleanroom cleanliness test to fail. 

Therefore, for environments with high cleanliness requirements, customers should be advised to use plateless HEPA filters. Plated filters are more expensive than plateless filters in foreign countries, hence their use is less common there. Furthermore, compared to the rectangular channels of plated filters, the V-shaped channels of plateless filters further improve dust collection uniformity and extend service life. Plateless filters for ventilation avoid the use of metal components, are easy to dispose of, and meet increasingly stringent environmental requirements. Except for certain special applications requiring high temperature resistance and high safety, plateless filters can replace plated filters.
