Coarse Air Filter


1. Key control parameters for the selected product include rated airflow, filtration efficiency at rated airflow, initial resistance at rated airflow, dust holding capacity, and dimensions.


2. Filters with an atmospheric dust counting efficiency ≥20% and <80% for particles ≥5.0μm should be tested according to the methods specified in JG/T22-1999 "Performance Test Methods for Air Filters for General Ventilation".


3. Commonly used filter media include nylon woven fabric, glass fiber, and non-woven fabric.


4. The manufacturer should provide the filter's dust holding capacity.


5. Initial resistance should be ≤50Pa. During design, the final resistance can be calculated as twice the initial resistance.


6. Air filters should meet fire safety requirements, and the flash point of the filter coating should not be lower than 163℃.


7. When used in air conditioning, a washable and detachable type should be adopted. The cleaning cycle is typically 3-6 months.
